Bills contain PHI-like information by nature. Before uploading, consider redacting unrelated pages if your workflow allows, and use secure networks. The product is designed for bill review, not for storing unrelated identity documents unless required by the flow.
Optional Gmail integration
If you connect Gmail to send mail, OAuth scopes are limited to what the app requests—typically send-related permissions for composing your message—not broad inbox reading. Tokens are handled server-side with encryption as described in product documentation.
Accounts and access
Use a strong password, do not reuse credentials from banking sites, and sign out on shared devices. These basics matter more than any single feature claim.
No online tool is zero risk
Threat models include phishing, device compromise, and provider breaches. TrimWise cannot eliminate those; it can follow good engineering hygiene and transparent policies.

Can I delete my data?

Is TrimWise HIPAA-covered?
